4 Juni 2024 Five model KLX range for Europe in 2025

Across three engine capacities – and suiting riders of varying skill levels and sizes – Kawasaki is offering a five model KLX range for the 2025 season*.
In engine class capacities of 110, 140 and 230, the four-stroke, air-cooled range of machines will make it easier than ever to gain entry to the world of four-stroke machines in the starter and leisure classes laying the ground work for greater off-road ambitions in future.

With durability, performance and KX family style as core design parameters, the KLX range has been created to offer not just thrills but years of reliable service allied to the trusted and enthusiastic Kawasaki off-road dealer network.

An entry level machine – but with the same attention to detail and build standards as adult machines – the 112cc KLX 110R is a robust entry point to the Kawasaki off-road four stroke stable with kick and electric starting plus a four speed semi-automatic transmission, great for junior to learn how gears work without the complexity of a manual clutch.

The addition of a parent or guardian throttle stop also allows learning to be conducted at safe speeds and in controlled conditions. And like its KLX siblings the KX racing looks are backed up by race style suspension and full on Kawasaki attitude.

Next step in terms of engine size is the KLX140 range with no less than three models available in 2025 from the R with its 17 inch front and 14 inch rear wheel set up to the L (large wheel) at 19inch and 16inch respectively and finally the F (full size) equipped with 21inch at the front and a 19inch rear wheel. With these three in the line there is sure to be a bike suitable for a variety of rider heights and builds allied to the simplicity of the vast number of engine and chassis components being identical.

Housed within a high-tensile steel box-section perimeter chassis, the 144cc electric-start, five speed manual transmission engine is air-cooled thus dispensing with radiators allowing a thin chassis aspect. The robust two-valve motor is designed to be easily maintained prioritises riding time over workshop time.

Kawasaki’s own adjustable Uni-Trak suspension plus front and rear disc brakes add to the riding reassurance while the styling is pure KX reflecting the looks and attitude of countless Championship winning machines.

Topping out the 2025 KLX range from Kawasaki is the latest in the 230 stable, the KLX230R S with its new season spec including new rear subframe and lower seat height at 875mm plus key-based ignition, new engine balancer, new suspension settings and redefined ergonomics.

Enjoying updated ECU settings and a narrower intake port and smaller intake valve (ø37 mm >> ø33 mm) for 2025 for increased ease of use in the low-mid range, the KLX230R S makes a worthy KLX range leader. Whatever your off-road ambitions and wherever you want to roam, there is sure to be a KLX suited to your needs and ready to fulfil your dirt dreams.
