18 September 2025 KLX140 youth models for 2026 announced

A life and loyalty to two wheelers traditionally starts with a bicycle and, for many, the yearning for more power and excitement often leads to off road motorcycling. Understandably, for generations of today’s top-level motocross and enduro riders, their passion began with a youth focused machine such as Kawasaki’s entry level KLX range.
Based around the time-served and durable OHC four stroke Kawasaki engineered and built 11ps rated 144 cm3 air-cooled, 4-stroke, single cylinder engine, the KLX140 series are geared machines with rugged five speed transmissions allied to a manual clutch allowing kids and youth riders to hone their competition skills with the knowledge that style and reliability are cornerstones of the KLX family. .

With electric starting plus disc brakes as standard, the KLX140 offering is available in a range of wheel sizes. The R model is the smallest wheel option (17inch Fr / 14inch Rr), the L mounts mid-sized wheels (19-inch Fr/ 16-inch Rr) and the F is full sized at (21-inch Fr / 18-inch Rr). Add adjustable rear suspension and perimeter style steel frame and you get a KLX140 that is ready to rock – whether as a learning and recreational machine or to take those first tentative steps into offroad sport.

When it comes to starting a life-long riding journey, Kawasaki and the KLX140 range is ready to fuel a passion that will return good times and riding memories to span generations.

Colours for 2026 remain as you would expect, evocative and impactful Kawasaki Racing Lime Green.
